| Taken yesterday afternoon during a walk from Sandycove to Seapoint, this is a kiosque in Dun Laoghaire harbour. Thanks to a discussion with a friend, I started developping some interest in cloudspotting, and with yesterday's overcast sky in Dublin, the conditions were really good for that. I had spotted this nice cloud, but needed a foreground for it, and fortunately the kiosque came to my eyes. I'll go back to this place as it has great B&W backlights to offer. I already have in mind pictures I could do with the local fishers and skateboarders in backlight ;o) |

Hi Clement,
I like this shot quite a lot. Very graphic, very moody. I like dark b/w photos like this. The lines of the building are great, you did a good study on this place in a very precise fashion. Great symmetry.

Clement, what a good use of the B&W and the dark tone of the photo.
Strong diagonal lines in contrast with the soft clouds.
Hello Clement.
I agree with Jinju, the graphism is very nice. Good job seeing the foreground to add to the clouds. Your exposure is excellent creating great contrasts. Superb balance as well.
Regards,
Chris.

Hi Clement,
I like the symmetry of this one. One needs a bit time to see all the beauty of the picture.
Well done!
Cheers,
