Photographer’s Note

This is another photo taken at the Laytown races. Here the horses race down the home straight. They are now just under 2 furlongs away from the finish line. In the background you can see the ambulance. Thankfully it didn't have much to do that day.

This horse race event is held on the public beach. Always a fun day out. This is the only official race meeting held on a beach anywhere in Europe, and one of very few recognised around the world.

The races has horse on the plage.C' is true that it is not current.The photograph is very well.Good framing.

Hi Paul - a great subject & good action shot. The pace & urgency of the race comes across well with the horses kicking up quite an amount of sand. The ambulance seems to have trouble keeping up!
