[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the continuation of my Dublin Zoo photos. There is a section called African Plains. They had a variety of animals there. The giraffes were there too.

There were 4 giraffes. It was feeding time for them. So they were walking near the gate you see in the picture restlessly. During that time I saw two giraffes crossing each other and they made the 'X' alphabet. I took this shot. I enjoyed it very much.

The resting place of these giraffes were so tall and it was so amusing to see us being so small comparing to these tall animals.

Nice composition. Animals are very hard to capture well. Next time, you might try turning up the exposure value on your camera by about 1/3 of a stop. Just a thought, I'm not sure. That would make the animals stand out a bit more perhaps. I realize it was one of those gray days.

Another way would be just to meter the animals with the spot meter and see what happens.

You might also try rotating it so the gate is horizontal. True, the right animal would then be closer to the edge of the frame, but you might want to see how it looks.
