[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Friends can be from two extreme thoughts. A perfect example is this picture.

This shot was taken in Dun Laoghaire in the Festival of World Cultures. Just have a look at them both. They are just the opposite in everything say the costume, the bags they carry, the hair style and what not... But they are very good friends.

We too have friends who are so different from us. But these extremes don't stop you from being a friend with them. You like them for what they are.

Very nice photo. I really like the composition and the detail in the costumes the woman wear.

I allso like your wise words. They are really true. I must admit that I have a fairly rightwing background, but when I moved to where I live now I've learned that people are the same no matter where they come from, what they wear or do. It is just the few people who are to narrow minded to see the true beuty that is humanity, who spoile the welth and wisdome that is humanity.

Very nice work, in bouth your photo and note. Thank you very much for sharing this view point and for sharing this great example which some of my childhood friends would really need to see.

You have the right attitude and it's a shame that the world we live in makes this friendship of opposites a cause for comment. Personally I see no reason why they should not be friends. Did you notice the blond girl is wearing an Eastern-style dress? Nicely taken portrait and a good place to raise this issue.

Nice portrait and a good documentary of this festival .I think the woman in the background represents a 3. nationality.I like their colorful cloth and smile.
