Photographer’s Note

A man digs in the mudflats at the south end of Bull Island, opposite Dublin Port.

I must confess that I didn't know people did this, and non-sea person that I am, I don't even know what he was doing there.

The photo was shot in colour, and later processed to grayscale.

Hi Treasa. This is a nice image you have here. The man is digging for Rag worm for use whilst fishing. It can be a dangerous persuit and a person doing this must have knowledge of the tides as the water can come in around you very quickly.
