I'm back after a long break from posting, but not from shooting :-)

Ballyvaughan is a small village, but has more than it's fair share of road signs. I posted a previous one here. These signs give an indication of the many things to see and do in the Burren area of north Clare.

PP: croppod a little, framed.

Hi Tim, this is a great shot. I'm just back from a holiday in the West and these type of junctions always amuse me. Cars slowing up to get directions with some tourist in awe at the amount of directions and information. Considering other parts of the country have little or no road signs.
Well captured with great colour.

Jim.

Cool shot! Seems you followed the yellow sign? :-)
Eva

Interesting slice-of-life shot. This is one of the things that makes navigation in Europe different than North America -- reliance on city names instead of route numbers (go north on the the I-15, then take the I-80 west..).

odwieczne pytanie - dok±d? Piêkne zdjecie....

I don't know why but I thought that this one should be included under the theme road sign.

Hi Tim,
Nice, clear, and sharp. Mostly people confuse because of too many options, too many values to be considered, or too many aspect to use in judging a photo. I am a simple man, so I just say it simple: great photo.

Wow, where to go? It's even worst than in Montréal, is it possible? :-) Funny shot Tim.

Hi Tim, great shot of a totally confusing road signs. Good POV and colors. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Michael

Hi Tim,
A great shot! There's plenty of colour on those signs. And selection is just overwhelming. And I like the contrast. The signs seem to suggest that this is the centre of the universe, while the background looks more like middle of nowhere.
Kari

Great Image, I've seen similar chaotic amount of signs on junctions in Italy. Lisdoonvarna Smoke House... interesting didn't they ban smoking in the Republic?

hello my friend:)
again the same motive:)
I remember similar photo:)
nice eye you have for such photos
exellent cropping with geat colours
well taken

Welcome back. You've been missed.

Lovely photo. Never mind the lack of street signs in some places, this spot has too many. Enough to confuse anyone.

Great crisp clear image, very good DOF, and fun colourful signs. Well captured.

Tim, something wrong here! They left out the most important sign, directions to the local bar.
Great dazzling array of directions here, well captured.
Welcome back to TE.

very funny picture.may be you should trust your gps.....

hi,I have always liked Irish signposts, there were always so many of them and so various! Some indicating the distance in kilometers, the other in miles... sometimes it was pretty dizzling...
very well seen and captured, I like also the characteristic stones at the bottom of the picture.
regards, Hanna

Hallo Tim!
That's insanity! I like the manifold colours very much, but there are some very strange words - real tongue-twisters...
Thank you for showing this!
Greetings from Germany!
Frank

Yes, this is Ireland! cool photo - reminds me on my nice journey there.

Excellent idea Tim, all these signposts together, no need anymore to indicate on a map to know where we are :)).
Good sunny colors on the signs and well texturing in the cloudy sky.
greetings
Henk

it's a really very good combination, congratulations and wish you many nice photos...

Great one, Tim.
Very good composition.
Quite sharp.
Well done!

Hi Tim, this is a great shot, really different and enjoyable. good comp and sharpness. thanks arnoud

Hello Tim,

This is a new kind of picture, because on one part it is so hilarious, and still it let
us see the rugged ladscapes of Ireland.
I like the tones and the composition too.

Best regards - Izzet Keribar

hi Tim
amazing number of road signs! It not costume here, only I see some of them toghether near Abbott, a little town in my district.
Very nice colors and details, a pity that some of they are "cutting" in right.
Regards
Hernán

I couldn't stop appreciating this shot. It really gives a message maybe like, "too many choices and we aren't sure to take up which road."

Hello Tim

I like this shopt. Humoristic: most of the observing people will be driving. The chance that a traffic sign will be read is about 0 %.
Greetings,
Huub de K.

Hi Tim
Which way you choise? hihihi
Good observation :)

Best wishes

Hi Tim, I like this one better than the other sign picture. This one has more signs and I like the inclusion of the sky to balance off all the signs. In one way it seems like it would be confusing to see so many signs in one place, but in another way it would be nice because it would not be so easy to get lost. :)

Thanks for sharing!

Erin

Hi Tim. Great shot! Was up that part of the world a couple of weeks ago and saw these signs and the ones in Ballyvaughan too. What's hilarious is that in other parts of the country, you could be lost, driving for miles, before you find a half decent signpost!

I love the colours and composition of this shot. The signs are so busy, yet the lovely scenery in the background in so calm! Well done :)
