Wow Tim,
This is a beautiful one! You surely know by now that I like foggy pictures! :) But, I can tell you that I also like trees! And yes, it is possible to have a favourite tree, for sure! And its a truly special one. I like the play of light and shadow here, and you suceed well about that in this picture. Nice colors, the sun and the frost on the vegetation. Yes, a very beautiful one... I like it a lot!

Tim, what a beautiful photo showing the rewards of getting up early in the day. When the sun comes up all sorts of things happen that gets me really excited. I love it! I have taken one amazing morning capture this August that I would love you to see . Take Care.

Hi Tim,
Lovely tree! Good winter composition. It must be really cold, looking at the ice on the vegetation on the side of the road. I like this lighting and the contrast with this dark foreground in the shadow. Well done!
Thanks for sharing your favorite tree. I love trees as well.

Very nice additions in your gallery sice the last time I visited.
but this one is definitely one of the best.
I don't have any photos of single tree standing out in the sky ... and for that I envy this photo .... and yes this is definitely not any ordinary tree ... it has a very strong character and for that I like this photo .... the road and what looks like some frost on it is a very good addtion for this photo.
This photo kind of reminds me of the time I spent in the rural areas of the Niagara Region in Canada last year.

Yes! I must admit I do the same. I plan for all seasons when viewing potential landscapes and watch how the light plays on those rare misty mornings. If only we had a predictable season like some of those Polish misty scenes of
ziuk
or a proper Canadian Autumn like designersoul's
and Weather like the Dutch Master Carper has.
This is well captured and true to Irish morning light. I wonder what our landscapes would look like if all farmers stripped the creeping ivy from their trees. maybe we will get a European directive to do just that. Thanks for sharing this moring view Brrrr.

Hallo Tim!
I like this photo very much, because it shows a tree-personality in a little bit mysterious atmosphere. It's a warm light, although temperatures spoke another language, I think. Very well seen! Besides: my favorite-tree is an old chestnut-tree here in my town.
I whish you a happy and peaceful christmas-time and - keep the eyes open!

Lovely shot Tim, I think you must be late for work everyday with all this photography?,for many commuters an empty road like this is just a far off dream!!
Seems like you take timeout to smell the roses.
You should post a photo every season of your favourite tree so we can see how it looks fully clothed.

hi Tim, i suppose if a tree looks like this you can have a favourite one:-) i like the atmosphgere here, a little eery thanks to this mist, on the other hand the colours are so delicate and warm that you feel so relaxed watching it..a really great view, shown in a great shot.

Hi Tim - wow, amazing, excellent timing, the mist, light and composition are perfect, I just wish the lens was wide enough to include the entire right part of the tree. But I don't suggest sacrificing anything from the left to include it either.
