Photographer’s Note

In June 2003 the Special Olympics were held in Dublin. It was an amazing occassion. Many towns around the country acted as "Host Towns" where diffefent countries were allocated a town. Volunteers and families worked really hard to make their stay enjoyable. My town of Trim hosted Botzwana. Lifelong friendships have been made and the whole experience has left a lasting impression.

This humourous image caught my attention at the Volleyball venue in Dublin.
