Girl of My Dreams III
there on the conveyor belt of love
an escalating heartbeat
brings me face to face
with the one of whom I dream
but the treads move on
endlessly
I wear myself out
going up and down
up and down
everyday
the shop staff are used to me
they don't call
for help anymore
they recognise my obsession
and let me stalk their store
day after day, day after day
until the latest fashions
take my love away.
What to say really – this Dublin store is using all the oldest sexual attraction tricks in the book to sell itself to its customers – the girl of his dreams passes a thousand times a day (do they dream of him – I’m sure they do) and lower down the girl of my dreams can be passed by an equal number of times – if love were only about looking what more is there to look for – oh these photographers have so much to answer for!!

Hi Kev.
I like this style of compo....and this shot is really goood.
Excellent diagonal and the b/w is a good idea, nice result.
The framing of the very interesting background is perfect too.
Nice compo.

Very good composition. I like the lines very much in your picture and also the fact that the man in the poster seems to be looking at the ladies on the escalator.
There seems to be a halo around the hair of the three ladies to the left. Is this due to some kind of post-processing?

after yesterday's post (which i found being a big question mark to me) today's image works very well - clear, simple, yet clever composition; great how the poster's person faces the real one - exactly at the same level; very symbolic, very "natyral" pic;
kev - have a nice we, jerzy

Hey Kev, excellent capture again, somehow I have to think about Norberts shots in the Museum.
Very nice layers here, which makes it very attractive to look at. You wriet that this store knows the tricks, but actually, I don't see anyone looking right now ;-)
Enjoy your weekend!

WOW,
I like this kind of composition... the mathematic precision of fence in diagonal contrasting the horizontal and vertical lines. For me it would be nice just withot people, but in this way it's just perfect. Ordinary people in contrast to perfect examples of models . It's also nice how they are going down the stairs (when they see such beautiful models) - being totaly unsatisfied with own look. Well this is only my opinion but...
