Photographer's Note

This is the inside of the central roof of an structure called the Imaginarium.

The Imaginarium featured at the World Street Performers championship in Dublin in Summer 2010, and despite my hoping otherwise every year since has never returned.

It was a strange almost tent like structure, held up by air inflated into its walls, and with many changing colors through its walls, creating a variety of strange color effects from the natural light as you walked around inside.

Once you got inside, there were many corridors to explore and two huge central rooms with cushions where up 30 people could sit down and relax and take in the strange atmosphere of this unusual place, erected in Merrion Square in the heart of the city for only a couple of days.

This was the roof over the very centre of the structure, where most people sat around taking pictures of each other in these strange surroundings.

Due to the walls being made of plastic (like a gigantic bouncy castle) the temperature inside was incredible in the summer sun. The bottled water stand conveniently positioned outside did good business that weekend!

Thanks for looking!
