A clear and sharp capture of this wonderful rugged coastline.
The colours are very beautiful.
Exellent DOF. Splendid sky. I also like the small puddles in the rocks on the foreground.
Best regards, Paul

the colours and shapes are fantastic, bold on the shore, mild on the sea and in the sky, dramatic all over. The natural colours and textures are enriched by the marvellous play of light and the contrasts. Depth and perspective are captivating. Composition, lighting and rendering of chromatic tones are absolutely superb. The atmosphere is exquisitely intense. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely weekend,

Impressive shot executed so perfectly! Love the strong and effective saturation effect especially achieved in the foreground. Great composition. Excellent!

Fantastic colours in this shot. I note it had a one second exposure - did you use an ND filter? I just spent a week trying to get those things to work for me and not one shot came out anything like I imagined it should - in fact I was so frustrated I just gave up on them!
Great image. TFS.
Budapestman (82620) 2012-08-18 11:55
a beautiful romantic view with spectacular composition and picturesque details, great atmosphere, Tfs! Have a nice weekend! Kellemes hétvégét kívánok!

Hello Brian, excellent sharpness and brightness of color especially in the foreground. You managed to set up the composition well so the leading line on the diagonal sends the eye right into the image where we glimpse the soft hues in the sky and the islands in the distance.
A very well executed image.

I am impressed!
There is so much to enjoy, so much to admire, in this photograph.
I would just like to say I have enjoyed looking at it but that is not really a critique!
Analytically, you pov is engaging, the leads are dynamic, the depth is immense, the lighting awesome, the details sharp and the colours, beautifully saturated.
Have a lovely Sunday,
janraiski (558) 2012-08-19 2:41
fantastic colors and shapes, and of course nice composition.
timecapturer (49288) 2012-08-19 3:26
now this is class! Amazing fg detail and colours that just tantalise the senses and then we have the beautifully managed light in the sky to top it all off, plus of course the exquisite view. Breathtaking imagery! Guess I like it! Wonderful work my friend.
Have a peaceful Sunday - Brian.

Great colors in this high quality capture. The POV is excellent and the textures make me feel I'm right there stepping on the rocks. Well done!
SnapRJW (31629) 2012-08-19 4:34
Gorgeous seascape Brian; the light is excellent and I like the highlights on the green weed-covered rocks which provide and electric colour contrast to the browner colours. The composition is strong with good lead in lines directing our view to the horizon and softly rendered 3 Sisters and sky. The small silky pool on the LHS is a marvellous detail. Top class work, well done. Warm regards rosemary
chawax (20048) 2012-08-20 6:12
I find this one better than your previous one of Dingle ! The POV is excellent and the colours are very nice and more natural. The composition is very well balanced too.
Have a nice day,
ilDottore (5252) 2012-08-20 19:03
This is absolute masterpiece... colours, textures, location, timing, photographer's skills - highest possible level, I can imagine.
I have to visit Dingle, definitely!
delpeoples (56042) 2012-08-22 3:21
An absolute cracker! Wow, what do I go fo first? There are so many beautiful elements to it. My favourite would be the pond on the left and its luminous reflections. And then the green and orange lichen on the rocks is like the icing on the cake. You did a great job balancing the sky with the filters. You seem to have encountered the same problem I get, with the darkening of the cliff on the left. But it's a nitpick. Sensational shot, congrats.
Have a good week
williewhistler (15813) 2012-08-22 11:02
Hello Brian, excellent use of the ND filter has enhanced that gorgeous sky and allowed the lovely colours of the rocks to have real impact.
The fine composition with the verticals well used result in a stunning shot.
Best regards Les.

A spectacular image, depth and perspective so delicately managed depicting the mood perfectly in such colorful glow shimmering thru. Excellent clarity while keeping much of the foreground well in focus to lead in with hints of motion effect in the water to add dynamism and the speck of bright green helps to trigger our sense. A sensational shot and nicely presented, the display of gorgeous colors is certainly make this shot very special. Well done, congrats
annjackman (21386) 2012-08-23 11:34
It is such a pleasure to view this picture. Your management of the beautiful light is outstanding. The clarity and sharpness are exquisite making the colours really stand out.
Congratulations on a very fine picture.
Kind Regards, Ann
willperrett (9003) 2012-08-24 0:39
Superb photograph: the colours have been helped by your use of the polariser, and the sky is given a huge boost by the ND grad (while it's also darkened the cliff to the left inevitably). I wonder if you've also done any post-production work on this? The wide angle of view has also given us plenty of foreground interest, with the rocks and boulders leading our eyes into the frame. Excellent work.
mjdundee (4663) 2012-08-24 4:18
Excellent use of these filters makes a very sharp and colorful seascape compo. THe light looks absolutelly beautifull. so does the sky. A picture like a miracle.
Gigidusud (18723) 2012-08-30 14:00
Great view on the coast with fantastic colors and nice light.I love it!
Thanks for sharing.
COSTANTINO (61437) 2012-08-31 2:59
it is a nice shot in a different style
the colors and the shapes are fantastic
with natural vivid colors creating
a particular atmosphere,the saturation
is effective especially in the foreground
I like it a lot indeed
have a nice weekend
kathryn_weir (2056) 2012-08-31 13:01
The colours are stunning here. Great use of the nd filter to balance your exposure which you have completely nailed with this one. You have made effective use of those rocks to lead the eye in to the " three sisters". So vastly different from the Australian 3 sisters in the Blue Mountains.
A spectacular shot, congratulations
npecanhuk (72044) 2012-08-31 20:04
Another wonderful location!
A magnificent picture!
Colors are gorgeous! Management of light is perfect! Sharpness, horizontal format, chosen pov and composition are all outstanding photo qualities too!
I just love it! I just say "wow"!
TFS - congrats,

You have a gift for landscapes, and like all of your gallery, this is beautiful. Rugged and wild, and so rich in detail and colour. I love the contrast of the wild sea to the calm pool in the rocks.
macjake (63210) 2012-09-03 10:19
For some reason i thought i had already critiqued this photo, well, i'm here now.
My girlfriend, also on TE, (westcoastgirl1, Tosca)
would love these photos, her favs are beaches and mountains.
amazing depth, clarity, light, and colors.
love the peaceful atmosphere.
Robert1969 (7160) 2012-09-18 9:37
A picture with beautiful warm and bright
colors (compliments for the light management).
Point of view and composition are also
wonderful: there are a lots of diagonal
lines (and that creates the depth in the
picture), water on the forground (left),
beautiful sky, beautiful landscape...
Yes this is a party for the eys, goes
to my favorites.
RegisMinot (1543) 2012-10-06 13:39
Eveything is fantastic on this picture: the foreground with beautiful brown and green colours, the great depth of field (given by the 13 mm), the sea, the rocky islands and the pink clouds. Very good choice.
marina7 (8055) 2012-10-09 13:29
there's no need to say much, the picture speaks for itself - just beautiful. Love the warm light and the "glassy" little pools beside the razor-sharp rocks.
My best regards
speedymanu (3587) 2012-11-23 12:50
Spectcular colors, I like the contrast between the slightly rough and wet textures of the rocks in the foreground and the delicate almost velvety textures of the watercolred clouds and cliffs in the background. The reflections add an extra depth to your composition.
Thanks for sharing,
kasianowak (7737) 2012-11-28 7:06
Incredible moment captured in this image! I love the colours and the light but most of all the textures and shapes in the foreground dominating the image.
Kamilutka (8105) 2012-12-23 6:57
Amazing! Very good composition and perfect sharpness, but the most impressive are all the beautfiul colors of the rocks and quite dramatic sky.
All the best for Christmas!
