A damp Autumn morning overlooking the harbour in the west Cork village of Courtmacsherry the virtuoso violinist prepares!

Well one can dream and dream well of the future....but the reality is..........cats fighting have produced sweeter music.

This studious fiddler, actually it's a viola, was in the very early days so .......he has the look but the photograph does not tell the whole story!

nice sharp mid-action profile. i love this pic and how it has a sort of timeless quality about it because of the silhouette and blurred background. (as in.. in could be placed in any time period since there are no details to reveal otherwise) but if his practice session was really as bas as you say it was, then maybe it's a good thing that we just get to witness the pic ;)

Hi Kev, a great moment to capture. It just evoked memories of childhood music lessons and hours of practice (well that's what I told my teacher)... I like the way you've done this..the boy silhoueted against the window, a blend of light and dark.
