hello Brian - I'm viewing this shot on a very small laptop but from what I can see this is a super landscape. The soft layered clouds are beautiful and the patches of sunshine across the landscape add an attractive liveliness to the scene. I look forward to seeing a larger version when I get home. Warm regards Rosemary

Hi Brian,
What a wonderful landscape, so wild and immense. I like the rocks in the foreground and all these threatening dark clouds, a feeling of beautiful but hostile wild nature. Bravo !

Hi Brian
This brings back memories of a play I saw years ago, the Leenane Trilogy. It was really funny.
But this landscape is very sombre, quite magnificent and with textbook 2/3 to 1/3 framing. The sun shining through those few places in the centre of the frame lights the photo superbly. The landscape is so majestic, accentuated by those dramatic clouds. The green tones and the rocks contribute to this atmosphere of wilderness and desolation. A theme that appears often in your landscapes. I love this shot, congratulations.
Have a lovely weekend, hope the no-carb diet's going well

Hi Brian
i think i've mentioned to you before, I grew up in Newfoundland, and this reminds me of the landscape found there aswell.
the clouds offer a stark contrast to all the greens and yellows.
and i can almost feel the wind blowing through.
have a great one

Hi Brian,
very realistic Irish atmosphere. Dense clouds with little light passing through and well saturated green tones. It looks almost like a painting.
Very well spotted,

Hello Brian,
the colors here in this truly charming capture look as Irish, as one would think about them.. all in green, a prettty vegetation and always a bit rain not far away..
thanks for sharing, see you around, greetings Bernd

Hello Brian,
With greenness like this, this could only be Britain - and with threatening clouds like those too!
As with all pictures of merit, it is the light which really makes this one. The dappled areas of sunlight on the hills, the moorland and even the nearest grasses are a delight and even that heavy sky has one or two small areas of blueness and clarity.
A beautifully composed shot with wonderful atmosphere, colours and detail.
Beautiful!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hello Brian, the pools of light on the mountains and the FG bring the over cast scene to life.
Lots of recession and a great sky,a fine shot.

Hello Brian !
It’s never different. When I come to your gallery I have a feeling that I have really travelled a long distant to come to meet with your beautiful images. Today is no exception. Over this vast landscape, the sunlight creates the most beautiful and captivating atmosphere on the landscape. I have seen a similar scene in Scotland once a long time ago. I can well imagine the lights moving across the hills. The clouds over our heads also are like a living being. The poetic nature of this image is overwhelmingly wonderful. I love the image very much.
With my most and warmest regards,
Have a very nice week ahead, Brian
Nobu.

Hello Brian.
A wonderful composition of this beautiful landscape, the image conveys a sense of tranquility with a touch of loneliness, these green fields and beautiful mountains, the sky cloudy with a touch of drama to the composition.
Good management of light and color.
Best regards.
Luis.

Hello Brian, the fact that you have covered the 3/4 of the picture with the gloomy and moody sky is a great choice! The nature is beautiful, colors, shades, shadows, sharpness, the play of the clouds with the light, they all compose a very poetic synthesis!
Happy New Year to you!
Eleni
