Photographer's Note

This is a genuine candid: not posed, and I have no idea who this gentleman is. I felt at the time that only in Ireland would you be out walking, minding your own business, and happen upon a little old man sitting in the middle of a field reading the paper! B/W film (Ilford HP5) processed and printed in my college's darkroom (which is still operational, I'm pleased to say). Neg scanned on a Nikon film scanner @ 4000 dpi.

As you know, I like candid shots of persons, taken without their consent, taken during their today life.
this one is a good ewample, well constructed, sharp and in a really good B&W mood.
