Photographer's Note
Hi Folks,
You've seen the shot I've uploaded on thursday from the Lough Ouler. The one I'd like to share with you today was taken on the way back from the lake. Both shots were taken in the Wicklow Mountains. I would have mentioned this area to you quite a lot, but just to refresh few bits of info about the mountains:
The Wicklow Mountains in Irish read: Sléibhte Chill Mhantáin (older Irish name Sliabh Cualann from their location in the territory of Cualu). They are a range of mountains in the southeast of Ireland, run in a north-south direction from south County Dublin across County Wicklow and into County Wexford. Lugnaquilla is the highest peak in the range at 925 m (3035 ft), Mullaghcleevaun at 847 m 2,780 ft) is the second highest. The River Slaney has its source southwest of Lugnaquilla and then flows south along the western slopes of the mountains for some 72 km (45 mi)before entering the St George's Channel at Wexford.
The whole area is much frequented, especially at weekends, by Dubliners, as the region offers multiple choices of recreation, ranging from fishing to rafting to hill walking. Also in its midst lies the monastic settlement of Glendalough, believed to have been founded by St. Kevin, and now a popular tourist attraction; as well as Powerscourt Waterfall, the highest waterfall in Ireland. The southern limits of the Wicklow Mountains are set by Croghan Mountain, the highest point on the Wicklow-Wexford border and the scene (in the 19th century) of Ireland's only Gold Rush.

I'll be interested to see what you think about this one,
Cheers!

Hi Dariusz,
Grand landscape, a wonderful choice of frame to bring up different textures to cohabite nicely one next to the other, a rugged beauty, a wilderness work of art.
Excellent capture under surprising weather conditions. Everything blends well together.
Cheers!

Hello Darek,
A nice contrast between the warm colours of the lighted section in the foreground and the black & white part of the snowy mountains. Also beautiful is how the road with its many small curves meanders through the landscape.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Dariusz,
I like the contrast of colors in this picture, seems really two season, the pine plateau is also very nice.
The road going zig-zag is fantastic.
The colors and the landscape reminds me pictures i have seen of Yukon in Canada even if the mountais there are taller and valley larger.

Hello Darek,
A superb expansive view over this beautiful landscape. The light is perfect to bring out the patchwork of colours to superb effect. The winding road draws the viewer into the scene and invites them to explore further. Amazing sharpness.

Hi !
This is a wonderfull picture. the composition is perfect (I love the road !) and colors/contrast/lights are perfect too.
The only problem for me is the frame all around the picture : it's too big. you should reduce it by 50%.
Anyway thanks for sharing !
Have a nice day.

Czesc Darek,
Polacy mowia z niemiecka majstersztyk czyli Meisterstueck. Dzielo mistrza.
Pieknie wszystko poukladales -droge asymetrycznie jakby mimochodem, a jednak przyciaga uwage.
Doskonale wykonanie.
Gratulacje!

A very peculiar landscape which has its own charm thanks to those different shades of colours: from white and black on top to green and brown/yellow below. From the most cold to to most warm. Also the gentle curves of the hill create a lovely pattern while the winding road counts for a good perspective.
Apart from that I think the photo makes a great and fine appareance thanks to your light and colours management. You really master the art of composition and the photographic technique.

Donato

czesc Darek,
Piekne rudo-zielonkawe kolory pierwszego planu z osniezonymi szczytami gor wspolgraja znakomicie. Naprawde bardzo dobra praca warta uwagi.
pozdrawiam

Hello Dariusz,
I think that you are the king of the landscapes!!!
I like a lot your great sceneries, this one is perfectly composed, the colors and the light are really superb, and that "S" created by the road is a great eye-catcher element. Friendly regards.

Burning colours below and near black and white above, this is a great capture, Dariusz. I also like the role that little zig-zaggy road plays in the composition here.
Cheers.

Hi Darek
I like this kind of image although the warm foreground would hint for autumn rather than february, the snaking road is a good leader into the image
have a nice day JY

Hello Dariusz,
A strong scene where the winter landscape meets the beginning spring!
The colliding seasons create an interesting mix of colours, where the winding road is a strong eye-catching element...
The elevated point of view works well for this kind of scene...!

Hi Dariusz
I don't normal think of snow and brown earth when I imagine Ireland. Not having been there I think of the green cliché. Anyway the contrasts are fabulous and I like how the windy road stands out so well and attracts the eye.

Swietny tytul - dokladnie dwa sezony on przedstawia: w gorach jeszcze lezy snieg a w dolinie juz wiosenne kolory.

Fajnie.
No ,to jest światłem i cieniem malowane.
Bardzo,bardzo malarski pejzaż.
Podział na czerń i biel i rewelacyjny kolor u dołu jest rzeczywiście godny podziwu.
A wszystko podzielone niby wstęgą, szarożółtą drogą, co daje kolejny punkt spojrzenia na to zdjęcie.
Pozdrowienia serdeczne Tomek
