Modern day Athenry retains many of its medieval buildings and features and the award-winning Athenry Heritage Centre brings this Medieval Town to life using models, storyboards and audio-visual touch screen to celebrate and interpret the town's medieval past. The Heritage Centre, situated in the ruins of the Medieval St. Mary's Parish Church, in the centre of town, is the ideal starting point for anyone visiting Athenry.

It profiles the 13th Century Norman Castle and Dominican Priory, 14th Century Town Walls - complete with towers and the North Gate and the 15th Century Market Cross. The market scene captures the hustle and bustle of town life whilst the development and appearance of the town's most important buildings through the centuries is graphically illustrated. It is also the new home to the town's 14th Century Mace and Seal returned after an absence of 150 years.

Czesc Pawel,
Nikt nic? Jestem w szoku. Zdjecie wybija sie z tlumu estetyka wykonania oraz niezwykle poukladanym kadrem. Lubie te tematy, wiec tym bardziej patrze na nie z zainteresowaniem. Wypasione kolorki jak na chwilowe zachmurzenie. Bardzo mi sie podoba ta praca.

Czolem Pablo25!
Wspaniala architektura. Na Wyspach duzo starej wspanialej architektury, ktora mozna podziwiac i fotografowac. Coz, Wielka Brytania, imperium, a my co, jak nie potop szwedzki, to niemiecki badz radziecki, wszystko w ruinie. Dobre zdjecie serwujesz.

Darek tak przyzwyczail sie do tlumu adoratorow ze nie wie jak to jest byc niedocenionym ;)
Abstrahujac od nas faktycznie zdarzaja sie tu prawdziwi mistrzowie, w moim przekonaniu, ktorzy pokazuja cudenka ale sa malo popularni i odwrotnie. Mniejsza jednak o to.
Zgadzam sie z Darkiem ze praca jest wspaniala.
Sama wieza ma ZADY i WALETY tzn niby architektura typowo irlandzka ale takie szerokie wieze zdarzaja sie rzadko. Troche przypomina ksztaltem katedre sw Patryka w Dublinie (szeroka z cienkim szpikulcem), ale tylko sam design.
W kazdym razie zdecydowanie warta uwiecznienia.
Natomiast kontekst wybrales znakomity!
Omszone mury, groby -irlandzka klasyka w najlepszym wydaniu.
Slonca nie najwiecej nie mniej swiatlo doskonale. Ladna mocna zielen. Mury maja pare fajnych elementow, jest i grob i celtycki krzyz i zadnego cywilizacyjnego zanieczyszczenia.
Po prostu kompozycja dopracowana perfekcyjnie.

Excellent point of view, you made a very good choice including the graves in the foreground. Colours and light are very nice and sharpness is excellent.

Naprawde dobra praca - ciekawie pokazujesz ten zabytkowy obiekt, dobrze prezentuje sie wieza pokazana tu z niskiej perspektywy dotego swietne, delikatne swiatlo. Fascynujace sa te surowe, kamienne koscioly i zamczyska typowe dla Irlandii czy Szkocji. Masz tam przebogate plenery do wykorzystania.
