THE MILL OF FOLK PARK

"Alongside the castle is an extensive folk park, particularly popular with families, tourists and schools. This features reconstructions of historical cottages and buildings, recreating the general feel of the 19th century with a period style village main street. Old tools, furniture and artifacts are displayed, with the village kept alive by some inhabited shops, an old home bakery and peat fires in cottages. Today it is a major tourist attraction along with the castle as it sees thousands of people pass through its gates every year."

Hello Jacques,

On ressent un manque de lumière dans cette scène. Mais tu as su tirer parti de ce que t'offrait la nature en jouant sur le coté intimiste. Ce vieux moulin se fait discret dans cette végétation et les reflets dans le bas de l'image permet de créer un point d'intérêt au premier plan.
Bien vu !

you photographed a beautiful mysterious setting!
The details and intense contrast of light and shady parts make exceptional impression to the viewer.
The arrangement of the elements is very good. The extra photo in WS helps to explore the interior of the old mill.

C'est une photo très agréable et vraiment belle!
Le format vertical et le pdv ont été excellentement choisis! La géstion de lumière, le niveau de netteté, la profondeur et les couleurs m'ont plu beaucoup aussi!
La composition est efficace et ses résultats visuels sont tout à fait attirants! J'adore le reflet!

Hello Jacques.
A wonderful photo of stillness and silence surrounding this old mill. I think the composition is marvellous, with the mill building near the top and the lower portions taken up with the wonderful reflection. I love those leaves reflected in the 'sky'. The colours are very subtle in this gentle light, and the picture is beautifully clear and sharp. A delight to see this shot.

tu as choisi de privilégier le premier plan et les reflets et c'est bien vu en ayant positionné le moulin en arriére plan espace verdoyant et plein de tranquilité, qui a dit que l'irlande n'etait pas verte

On peut la trouvée sombre, mais elle est superbe.Un beau petit reflet, le coté vertical est bien trouvé, et ces couleurs sont trés attirantes...

mi piace questa immagine colta nel bosco in un angolo di questo museo all'aria aperta.
Posti molto caratteristici che mi e' capitato di visitare in Austria e in Olanda.

rien ne nous dit que cette maison rustique est un moulin... ton cadrage et l'ambiance du coin sont très intimes et sympa
quand à la roue horizontale et bien ils étaient ingénieux et ont ainsi gagné de la place et une poulie!

Les zones éclairées sont particulièrement attrayantes, entourées de sombre ou de noir. Le moulin, a demi dissimulé dans les arbres est d'une poésie rare. Les reflets élargissent l'image et l'éclairent. Très beau travail de qualité irréprochable. Félicitations.

Très belle réalisation Jacques et joli cadre approprié.
Ce que je trouve particulièrement admirable dans ta photo est la gestion de la lumière : tu l'as parfaitement bien dosée et ce n'était pas chose évidente dans cet espace bien boisé.
De plus, ta photo est d'une excellente netteté, ce qui ravit mes yeux. Superbes couleurs également et de plus, naturelles.

ça c'est un très agréable et bien composé cadrage!
I like very much the play of chiaroscuri (light-dark) and the sense of greath depth. Of course the reflection is wonderful and it's the main and most interesting feature of this remerkable photo. The atmosphere reminds of the hut of Paul Gauguin in Tahiti. Really very charming.

Joli choix dans le cadrage ici privilégiant une place importante à ce calme reflet qui donne une bonne profondeur à l'image. Ce moulin est vraiment intéressant avec sa roue à aubes horizontale que l'on peut voir en WS. Beau coin verdoyant d'Irlande, merci Jacques.

A very difficult exposure, very well handled. I love the dark reflections of the leaves in the FG pond. Like the framing done of the old mill with the foliage on either side. Well done!
