Photographer’s Note

Ballinskelligs Bay during bad weather.
This was my view for a week long. A couple of days with good weather, and then some days with storm, and real Irish weather, which means more or less, very nice and sunny, then rain, and then nice and sunny again. No matter what weather, the view was terrific. Especially with storm.
There's an open view to the Atlantic, and sometimes one could see the Skellig Islands, two massive rocks, the smaller one occupied by 40.000 gannets, and the bigger one (Skellig Michael) with the remains of St. Finian's Abbey (560 AD), and 6 beehive huts. During breeding season, it's also inhabited by Puffins, the beautiful coloured birds, that are normally out on the ocean.
Tasco has a nice picture of a puffin (I was not that lucky), take a look here: 'puffin'
Just because you couldn't always see the Skelligs, it added to the mysteriousness of Ireland.

Update; apparently fooled you guys, some of you saw it: it's NOT B&W, hardly any color, but not B&W.
