Painted wall in Crown alley, Temple bar district area.
Dublin finds its beginnings over one thousand years ago in a Viking settlement named Eblana.
Temple bar developed an "alternative" identity and a successful lobby by local residents, the area is the city's "officially designated arts zone". There are centres for music, multi-media and photography as well as a Children's cultural centre and arts centre offering theatre, workshops and other entertainment for children. After dark, the area is a major centre for nightlife, with many nightclubs, restaurants and bars

Bravo for the management of exposure as this situation is really a tricky one
Extremely strong contrast between the shadows in which details are still quite visible and the colorful part of the house not overdone
Again bravo, have a nice evening

Today we are neighbours here, and we both show graffiti. This is an impressive and dynamic painting but the light conditions were very difficult. We can still reasonably well make out the details in the shaded area, but with some more treatment we could have seen more.

Very fine shot of this graffiti house in Dublin. Nice work with the lighting and your POV showing the top well lit and the bottom right in shadow. The silhouette of the people really make the shot stand out.

the shadows weren't a good thing here. I liked the left lower corner with the skulls and the products and people.

You must have a fascination with murals. This one is interesting with half in the shade and half in the light. Nicely done!

A bit of a pitty about the shade, Miguel, but managed well to show the mural anyhow.
Street art with a message, mostly rebelion against everything. Fine clear view and vivid blue.

I can imagine Vikings raising steins of ales in this area, very colorful capture of this district. Good use of the shadows and good dof with nice details. Well done, tfs.

a very bold decision to photograph this facade at a moment of high lighting contrast, most difficult to manage. You've captured the fascinating effect of the contrasts very effectively and enhanced it even more. There's great clarity on both the lit and dark, shady parts and it's interesting to see the strikingly different shades of the same colours. The walking people animate the picture without spoiling the drama and mystery created by the lighting. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely Sunday,
