This is a nice picture of a place I love. Well! with my name I would have to know this place. The colours and the shadows of the setting sun are very nice. The problem is one of focus and contrast. One: The remains of the Celtic cross is your subject, but it is not in focus. The hills behind are where the focus lies. You would have done better to focus on the cross itself. Maybe you used auto focus which focuses on the center of the frame. Two: There it too little contrast between the cross and the background. Sharper focus would have helped, or, I might have used a fill-in flash to highlight the cross. Lastly: you have got a dirty spot on your lens, it could be a drop of water, but it blurs the area at about the middle of the left hand side of the cross. This spoils the picture. It was a difficult exposure with sun bright sun and deep shade but you have caught the colours of rural Ireland very well. regards kevin.
