Photographer’s Note
I went to Glendalough with my friends, and as for despite, weather was pretty lousy, i.e, rain and wind. Well, Ireland anyway :) Still, the place was very spectacular. Altough normally I like taking color photos over there, the weather itself as well as all the atmosphere around graveyard and old monastery just felt like it deserved a black and white photo.
As for a Glendalough itself, it`s one of the most well preserved monuments of early christianity period in Ireland, and is a starting point for many monasteries and churches around Ireland... as well it was popular destination of pilgrims of the time.
