Photographer’s Note
Here's something different for Christams to you all. It's a celtic cross in Glendalough in Ireland. The composition is 1/3 because I wanted to show the stunning sky and contrast it with the cross.
Glendalough is located near Dublin. The place was made famous when St. Kevin came there and established his monastery in the sixth century.

Hi Kris,
very good photo with lovely cloudy blue sky. Putting the Celtic cross on the right side as a shadow make the photo meaningful.
Good shot,
Sarhan.

Hi Kris,
Nice backlight ! Very good framing to show this beautiful sky.
I was in Glendalough last sunday with some friends, and though I expected to see more of the rests of the community, I have to say that it's a very beautiful place full of magic. In the middle of nowhere and very peacefull. You feel the history of the place...
Thanks for sharing, and making me see Glendalough other than with clouds and slight rain ;o) (though these conditions added to the magic of the place)

Witaj Kris,
bardzo nastrojowa fotografia - blekitne pochmurne niebo i sylwetkowo oswietlony celtycki krzyz bardzo ladnie sie komponuja. Bardzo symboliczne i takoz ciekawe.
Wszystkiego najlepszgo w nowym 2006 roku,
Maciek

I like the silhouette of the Celtic cross with the hill against an interesting cloudy sky.
