View from rock of Dunamase
 |

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| The rock of Dunamase is a ruin situated between Stradbally and Portloaise. It is quit a climb to get up there but I got treated to this view through one of the former windows. |

Wow! What a view! Very good composition.
Nice colours, and very beautiful framed.
Well done Rene.
Very good landscape picture with very good natural framing, you pictured a great view from the window and it was worth climbing.
Nice picture with good composition. Just an opinion - you should have used a lesser aperture (p. ex. f/8 or more) to get a better DOF; the exposition time (1/640) allows a lot of reduction in aperture
While you did an excellect job framing the picture, I think you should have stepped back (either phyiscally or reduced the camera zoom) and shown more of the ruined window. Here we can see so little of the frame.
A good frame can make a medicore picture look great. Don't believe me? Go price a good phyiscal picture frame. Many of them can cost more than the picture itself!
I'll also second the vote for a smaller aperature. A better DOF would have helped too. Still, a good picture.

I like the way you've cropped the frame - there's enough to add interest, but it's not overly heavy.
