Photographer’s Note

A shot taken from the Rock of Dunamase across a wall of the castle ruins NE towards the Slieve Bloom mountains. It is worth a visit for the fascinating architecture and nostalgia of the ruins and also the amazing view from the top across the plains of Laois. To reach the Rock of Dunamse, turn off the main road (heading East) between Portlaois and Stradbally in Co. Laois, Ireland. If it is not on your map, get a better one or ask a local...they will know where it is.
