The Rock of Dunamaise, which was mentioned in Ptolemy's map of Ireland way back in 140 A.D. was destroyed in the 17th century by Oliver Cromwell's forces. Today, all that survives of the fort are several fragmented ruins on top of the hill

This is an interesting photo. I love how you can see the plants growing on the ruins. My only suggestion would be to crop out the car, focusing mainly on the old fort. Do you know what the fort was called?
