Photographer’s Note
This beautiful Japanese Garden is located on the grounds of the Irish National Stud. It was commissioned by Colonel William Hall-Walker (Lord Wavertree) and was designed by Eida and his son Minoru. It's a fairly well-established garden, having been created between 1906 and 1910. It didn't receive much attention until about 1945, when the Irish National Stud Company was formed. The following year a horticultural supervisor was assigned. Later, the garden was opened to the public. The garden symbolizes a journey from oblivion to eternity and the human journey through life. This is one of the more attractive features, a stunning red bridge over a pond with lilypads. It's often called the most acclaimed Japanese Garden in Europe. More than 150,000 visitors experience the gardens each year.

Hi Terez,
Wonderful shot, I like your POV and the balance in your composition. On my monitor the shot looks a tiny bit flat light wise. Could you have crunched the contrast a little to bring it further to life. One other small point the persons arm coming into the bottom left of frame is distracting. I have posted a simple workshop. Very nice capture.
Cheers
Peter
