Photographer’s Note
This was the magic hour. Shadows were long, the sun bright and low and the threat of a storm...what a great time to be in a graveyard!
This is a scanned image from a print therefore focus is softer than I would have preferred.

scanning is a pig!!
pity you couldnt have it from a digi..
its a powerful shot and made so by the impending doom in the sky...
graveyards are for the living so enjoy while you can

hi mike, very interesting graveyard, nice old stone ruins
and a terrific dramatic sky above - hope you made it to a safe place in time.
just too bad the scanning took a little of the quality and left the focus slightly soft.
well seen & captured, thorsten.

Hi Mike
I like the compo and the great olours and the sky, but the sharpness is to poor for TE. As a thumbnail it's OK but the larger version is bad and that's a pity.

Hi Mike,
the composition is fine. But the scan quality needs some rework.
The WS shows the possibilities behind that even with the remaining problems in the dark sky. I try myself scanning and postprocessing. It is a heavy workload.
