Photographer’s Note

My pot of gold, because after three beautiful and spectaculair days with storm, the weather changed, and we were rewarded with a full rainbow.
No storm anymore, a chance to go to the Skelligs, of which I have uploaded a picture a few days ago, and being able to go into the hills, without the risk of being blown away.

Ran NI, sharpened and cropped, added a frame.

Almost unreal Rinie, the shape and defenition of this rainbow - great. I like the way the reborn force of the sun is displayed here too.
The compo is fine with its nice depth and the four layers. There's still some noise in the sky but this only strengthens the atmosphere.
Lovely titel and note.

Lovely landscape topped by the rainbow. The effect of the sunlight breaking through the clouds is particularly well captured, and the colors are great. Your composition accomplishes a very good depth towards the background. Good work, Rinie.

lovely rainbow shot, i like the setting amd the size of the rainbow is just mesmerising, very well seen and taken.

The catch of the rainbow is very impressive, very good picture.

The picture is a little bit noisy, and I suggest a little crop at the bottom of the frame, the shadow is catching the viewer eye.

Very beautiful colors. The rainbow is great. It is nicely placed in the image and makes a great arc across it. It really looks nice against the sky with a little bit of blue appearing through the clouds. This image has a very refreshing feel. A very fine capture. Great job.

The light alone is already exceptional...and you caught even the rainbow with it.
Only one little thing for me : you can crop the small grey part in the bottom right.
But besides that, it's really an excellent and impressive composition.

Dis pragtig, die reenboog se kleure kom baie goed deur. 'n Voorstel - crop die skaduwee weg ann die onderkant - hou 'n boek oor die skerm en kyk ho dit lyk. Dit sal jou hele toneel 'n sterker impack gee. Die swaar, swart kruis van die skaduwee kompiteer met jou reenboog. Dis net my gevoel, en dan is jou verhouding lug to grond meer korrek.

Beautifully. Somewhere on the end of this rainbow there should be a pot with gold of trolls, I precisely know, read in fairy tales ;)

Een heerlijke frisse foto van een prachtig landschap "overkoepeld" door de regenboog !
De wolken, maar ook de zon en heel ver
kunne kijken.

Superb rainbow, they're never easy to catch and even less easy to render. Beautifully composed, the rainbow is like an invitation for this wonderfully lightened landscape. Magic mood, magic light, very well rendered Rinie!

what a superb lanscape, one of my favorite in the world for sure. The light is simply perfect as often in ireland, a special light. beautiful sky...

I´ve checked your pages and as I did not find a new photo I´ve decide to swimg into your portfolio. I´ve stopped here attracted by this rainbow, long ago since I saw the last one. The composition is quiet epic, it would be a wonderful wideshot in a movie. Congratulations.
