Leaving at dawn (III), a photo from Kerry, South

Photographer's Note

The next morning, we left Smerwick Harbour at about 6 am, just when the sun started to rise. This is a small serie of pictures taken at the time of the departure, with the light slowly increasing.
The first one is the first workshop, showing the opening of the harbour to the open sea.
The second in workshop is taken a little latter and shows the hill on starboard.
The last of the three is the vertical one posted as n°3, showing the hill on the port side of the harbour (we are currently turning around to leave). Additional pictures tomorrow.

Hi Emmanuel

Nice shot, I like the framing with ropes etc. Just my opinion, but it seems a bit distracting that the rope cuts the small island.

Belle luminosité et couleurs du ciel, un bon cadrage vertical borde par l'échelle(ca s'appelle comme ca sur un bateau?) et le promontoire parachève l'image.

The colores on the water in the early morning can be extraordinary, which you have shown here very well. I really like the calmness of the water. Also, the way the light is reflecting off the bell.

Hej Emmanuel,
Another lovely shot with nice soft colours in the sky. The mast and ropes as well as the other parts of the ship are a great inclusion. The high cliff in the middle of the calm water looks great too with the much smaller one as a nice detail. Well done!
