This was taken while we were stopped to take photos along our tour of the Ring of Kerry. These guys were there to take photos with tourists, but I opted for a "daily life" shot instead, focusing on the people.

The Ring of Kerry route is one of the most popular in Ireland. Located in the lush and beautiful southwest, it passes through Kenmare, Sneem, Waterville, Cahersiveen and Killorglin. It's a popular day trip, but narrow roads sometimes make it difficult for motor coaches to pass each other; now all tour buses run in a counter-clockwise direction to avoid delays if two should happen to meet. Weather's also a factor: one of the bridges was out, so we had to take a bit of a detour. The weather was changing literally minute by minute, which made for a very dramatic sky but difficult photographing! It was alternating bright sun and heavy rain, but this one worked out!
