Killorglin, a photo from Kerry, South

Photographer's Note

I visited Killorglin in county Kerry, to play a round of golf there recently. This shot shows part od the course, with the Dingle Peninsula in background. There were dark clouds hanging overhead, though it was sunny most of the time - I like that combination.

Ireland has many many golf courses, and is one of the premier golf tourism destination in the world.

Hello Tim,
I also like this combination of threatening sky and sunny parts. In this cas it gives a wonderfull effect on the green of golf. I specially like the contrast between the trees and the grass.
The DOF is very good too.

Really great picture here! I love the contrast of the grass land and the dark clouds above them. Great sharpness of the trees and intense color of the grass.

I'm not a fan of golf, or golf courses for that matter, blighting the landscape with their elitist little cliques.

However credtit, where credit is due, you've captured a nice landscape here with the dramatic sky and shades of green.

Your horizon is off to my eyes, sloping down to the right. I would correct that and possibly crop the botton slightly to remove the lighter triangle of land in the bottom right corner

That's a place I would love to see. Fascinating green meadows and mountains as background. The picture seems to be a bit tilted on the right. Beisde that the clouds in the distance are overexposed.
But good subject.

A beautiful Irish landscape, just I´ve imagined that could looks like, with intense green field, and blue hills and clouds, all very well portraited, only the detail taht the horizon is a bit tilted down to right

Good picture and perfect composition. However I think you need to straighten the horizon. It appears to be tilted.

I've a thing for surreal climate that expresses the landscape in ways which is not something daily. It is unique and give the landscape that special or different feel, uncommon like other days when it is sunny. Beside looking for interesting landscape, interesting clouds formation or strange quality of day, is just as interesting if not, surreal.
