Its been warm (for here) and wet in the Southern Highlands for the last couple of weeks so what better than a wet photo from the Killarney area of Ireland. On a moist beginning of summer day we scrambled up to Torc Falls to be rewarded by falls that bounced down the slope and around large boulders in forest that you could just about class as rain forest.

Four of us Australians on the first page of the gallery at this very moment!
Very nicely composed view of these falls - so much lush greenery. Of course, the Irish get heavy rainfall quiet often whereas we have to wait years for it. Good exposure of the water, keeping it sharpish rather than milky, which is the way I prefer it. I get the impression Ireland is not as happy as it would have been when you took this shot. I remember visiting Killarney in about 1977 or thereabouts.

Hello IAn ,
I ofetn try to take pictures of water falls , and I'm often disapointed by the result . Some great photographers use the long exposure ; sometimes it works very well , other times , it looks too unreal for my taste .
You've succeeded with this capture . With a natural effect . The framing and the exposure are excellent .

Good POV of this attractive water fall, nice movement to the water and natural colours of the foliage. Good capture and I have to agree with Andrew that the water looks better like you captured it rather than that milky appearance. Well done TFS

Sharpness, exposure, chosen pov, natural colors, pp, contrasts, vertical format and simple composition are all good features here!
TFS - congrats,
