Dingle Bay, Dingle all the way ! Photo

Photographer’s Note

View, if I could say, on the Blasket Islands from Dunmore Head... a day of mist among others, giving a mysterious atmosphere to the islands.

Those islands, the most western one in Europe, were inhabited until 1953. In 1953 the government ordered the evacuation for the reason that "it was not possible to live anymore in a place so isolated and in so hard conditions".

They are actually populated with sheeps and tourists (reasonably).

Hello Marion. Excellent shot from high angle capturing the little islands trailing to the sea. I like the sharpness of the foreground details in amazing clarity and focus. Very good note and interesting population. Well done and TFS. Jusni

cinq moutons en prime d'ailleurs sur ta photo mais tous les touristes ne semblent pas aussi téméraires pour s'aventurer plus bas...
j'aime beaucoup ces paysages austères et le brouillard ne les adoucit pas vraiment. le cadrage va parfaitement avec ces rochers

Salut Marion,
On sent le brouillard, l'humidité, l'ambiance des côtes irlandaises. Pour une photo d'aout, le temps semble peu estival.
Sympa les moutons dans la pente.

Je fais un tour sur tes photos d'Irlande en me disant que j'y serais dans une semaine...
Je me demande si Dingle Bay ce sera un peu plus dégagé pour moi :)
Belle image qui donne encore plus envie d'y aller
