[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Boardwalk along Dublin's River Liffey has been open for about 4 years now. It provides a pleasant walk along the north quays on the river, much nicer than when we just had a footpath along the road, as the traffic can be pretty heavy in the city.

Provided along the boardwalk, which runs from Grattan bridge to O'Connell bridge, are seats & some kiosks selling food, tea & coffee. So, if you manage to get a nice day it can be fun just hanging around this area.

For this photo, I stood just in front of the Ha'penny bridge (the old iron footbridge that links the north quays to the Temple Bar area) and faced east. The bridge you can see is O'Connell bridge, with Liberty Hall (the tall, ugly office building on the left), The Custom house (green dome) and the Financial Services centre (office behind the dome) also visible. The river itself splits in the city into it's north & south sides, a geographical & at times social division. I'm a northsider :)

This picture has great potential Peter!! If you add a bit more contrast to this picture, it will be a hell of a picture and you will receive a lot more ratings. I will post a workshop picture on this one since it's a great picture. There's daily life and architecture in it.

Any photo of a place that I have never been to is always intriquing to me. You have shown me here a nice view of Dublin on a well composed and colorful photo. thank you for sharing it.

Andre'

Really nice view of Dublin. I've never been there but this shot makes it look like a big mainland European city. Well done.

Otimo momento de luz, as cores e o fundo ficaram otimos. Gosto da dinamica e do grafismo dessa composição Peter.
Greetings.

Very informative composition Peter and great shot. I have a goal of visiting this city one day and having a pint of beer in each pub. Am I unrealistic?

Peter, Good to see this view of Dublin, almost like being there. Ideal POV and perspective. Murray.
