Photographer's Note
Glasnevin Cemetary, Dublin, Ireland.
Final resting place of over 1.1 million people, Glasnevin is regarded as Irelands Necropolis. Famed for its round tower monument in memory of Daniel O COnnell, the cemetary contains hundreds of elaborate tombs and statues in memory of people ranging from heroes of Irelands history, charitable figures, bishops and of course, the exceedingly wealthy.

Hi Noel,
a wonderful POV that brings out the magnificence of this amazing church with such beautifully detailed spires. It looks so impressive against such a glorious sky. An excellent execution and presentation.

This must be a nice place to stroll around with a camera, all details and old textures on walls, I like it !

Hello Noel,
that will probably make you laugh but before I read the note I had thought "what a great place for romantic walk". It is just that these buildings are really charming, don't you agree? Very stylish and elegant and with plenty of fine details. I like how you composed your photo and managed the colors. Very good angle and POV.
Well done
and have a lovely evening

Hi Noel,
If I didn't know any better, I'd think this was a small church and courtyard area with a gazebo and a bench!? I hope I don't incur the wrath of the people these tombs belong to, it just happens to have that appearance to me. Although black & white is used often for cemeteries, and rightfully so, I think this one is better served in color. The tones have an almost copper coloring to them, which looks great against the blue sky and the stretches of green grass. I also think the detailed designs and textures come through more pronounced in this format. I'm especially liking how you've composed this shot, strong on both sides of the frame, but still having open space and good angles to give dimension. As Kamila mentioned before me, this does actually look like a place for romantic walk...is that weird??
Cheers,
Jason

Hi Noel,
You got a excellent framing of these two majestic architectures for me to do comparison.
The one on the left has so much detail of carving on the walls
Though it looks spooky on broad daylight, i must say that you done it nicely to slightly underexpose this shot.
Cheers,
Ralf
