Another slice of Dublin architecture. This is a view of the Dublin Convention Centre; the triangle jutting into the shot from the left hand side is the canopy of the bus shelter. Again the sky was perfect for the shot.

You succeeded a photo of Architecture. The composition and the scenario of the different elements is perfect. The colors are saturated but not too much.
Well seen and well done.

taglio e composizione molto originali, per un risultato accattivante e originale.
Un ottimo pov, scelto con buon occhio, dove le forme geometriche si stagliano contro lo sfondo blu del cielo.

I just love this!
You have made the tops of buildings, consisting of irregular shapes, look as if they are going to unite, like the pieces of a jigsaw!
The Convention Centre has such depth, such a 3d shape, created by your angle of attack and the light.
Have a great w/e,

Much admiration for this kind of graphical picture, mostly because I feel quite unable to spot them and exploit them !
Good mix of shapes, colors, textures here for a very pleasant and convincing result
best regards, have a nice WE

they all say look up, and this shot is the reason why, because it is wonderful. Love the contrast of lines and styles here in this modern view of the Dublin skyline. An immaculate execution and artistically worthwhile presentation. Love it!
Have a great weekend - B.

Are you sure it has been taken in Dublin? this deep blue sky is so amazing in Ireland. You have looked and found a n interesting perspective to play with the lines and the 2 colors.
HimalAnda (10671) 2014-03-01 3:54
This is a beautiful picture, with an excellent point of view, a perfect sharpness and beautiful vivid colors.
I like it a lot!

Another very elegant abstract composition. You found a perfect spot where you could combine various architectural elements and the sky in a superb way. A bus shelter has rarely looked better.
Sergiom (86105) 2014-03-01 4:59
J'aime beaucoup le petit côté graphique de cette composition. J'aime les formes qui se rencontrent, les ronds et les angles aigus devant un ciel remarquablement bleu.

Very nice architectorial capture from Dublin with good pov and layout.
TFS and have a nice weekend

Love this architectural study! You selected a fantastic POV to build this attractive presentation full of interesting elements and graphical shapes. The clear blue sky was simply a superb background for the subject. Very well done. TFS.

A very artistically composed picture with interesting angles and lines. Pleasantly harmonic colours. A well observed picture.

Again I smile as I see my home in a new light, you have pure talent. I have always liked this building but to be honest, I have always struggled to shoot it. Even though its evidently modern, its quite stubby, and I find at times ugly at the same time as being nice. This angle has made something entirely new of it, and to be honest, without your title I could expect this to be somewhere else. You really did get some amazing skies for your visit.
It must be so nice to have the sun follow you around the world :) I drove past this earlier today, and the sky was as grey as rainclouds bad mood.
Beautifully done, and thanks as always

even though the structures must have been very attractive in this delicious light that vivified their colours, it's hard to think of a creative way to bring them together in one frame. You realized the potential with great observation and instinct and your composition is magnificent. I like very much its dynamism and balance, the striking definition that made this idea work so well. There's fascinating graphism and the colours are beautiful. The viewer can switch from real to abstract as much as they like, I appreciate this gift very much. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely month,

Nice piece of architecture and very graphical shot ! I saw this building only from far but had not time to go closer, it's a shame !
Have a nice day,

This is a very good architecture shot, very graphical. Pleasantly sharp, and the beautiful blue sky participates so well in your fine composition. A strong point is likely the parallelism between the bus shelter and the edge of the roof. Very well seen and realized.
Best regards, Claude

Ciao dear Rosemary
Oooh I think I remember this building, is it the one near the Samuel Beckett Bridge? Whata great POV you got, very alla Mike MJW. The strong blue tones are contrasted beautifully and the graphism has been both perfectly composed and realised. The tight cropping has worked really well here and you have got the best of the available light too. Great job, thanks for sharing.

You looked for the ideal POV to present us this splendid architecture in a great composition.
Brilliant colours and contrasts!
Best regards, Paul

Good graphical shot with these buildings taken with that angle, nice brightness management, lovely blue also, tfs.
abmdsudi (57168) 2014-03-01 23:48
It's an entirely creative tilted shot seen from frog point of view with fine graphism-abstract effect that echoes the wonderful architectures of the flashy high rise modern buildings. Love the blueish tones, strong contrast, lines and curves in such a fine clarity and so well detailed to perfection, it's an innovative way to see thing differently to excite our vision. Great shot, Congrats

modern face of Dublin presented so excellently by You appeals to me much here!
It´s a great example, that it´s worth somethimes to look up-your upward perspective definitely helps to give this scene unique, futuristic look. Also the blue sky is a perfect backdrop for steel/glass facade of the building.
Have a nice sunday

a nice composition here. Like minimal framing. Nice and rich colors and fine sharpness. Nice work indeed.
willperrett (11688) 2014-03-06 0:39
I'm attracted by the geometries in this photograph. The dynamic straight diagonals are nicely mediated by the gentle curve of the glass-panelled area. And is that a polarizer you're using? Nice one!
adidas5nb (5743) 2014-03-06 23:46
great unusual shapes here along with the colors and the crispness creates a great graphic effect.love the idea and how you have seen it.
annjackman (21901) 2014-03-07 9:39
I like the graphic 'ingredients' of this image. The shapes are strong and the sky a super deep blue colour. You have demonstrated very well the value of looking up when photographing modern architecture.
Kind Regards, Ann

Very well composed image! Interesting POV from below close in a detail that enhances the graphic style of architecture! Fantastic blue sky!

Nice graphically composed shot. you have selected a good POV showing a creative and artistic eye.
