Photographer's Note
The campanile (bell tower) stands nearly a hundred feet tall and was built in 1853 by Sir Charles Lanyon - it has become one of the most iconic images of Trinity College and Dublin. Made of granite, cast-iron and Portland stone. The four figures at the base of the belfry (sculpted by Thomas Kirk), represent Divinity, Science, Medicine and Law.
