Tonight another shot from Dublin Tall Ship Races 2012.
This time, beautiful Beckett Bridge don't play a main role in the picture, but his role is still important as firm background for my tripod. :)

Interesting 'v' light pattern on the river with golden night lights, then the tall ships anchored in a line to the starboard.
Must be an enjoyable place and festival besides your attractive night images.
We also have Tall Ship festivals throughout California. The next one is in September at Dana Point Marina.

The line of reflections either side of the frame help draw the viewer into the scene toward the background lights. The image is well balanced between the lit and unlit areas maintaining the interest. Very good clarity.

Great night photography, a very lively shot that really stands out full of vibrancy and superbly stand out to dark nigh but the reflection on the water is most remakable to influence viewers' eyes. Impressive shot, fine effort my friend. Congrats

Strong composition making effective use of the v shape oflightsleading into the frame. The panoramic format is well employed and you have certainly got the exposure just right for a night shot to bring out the lighting
Thanks for sharing, have a great weekend

Great choice to crop up and below the
picture, because it's now very nice
wide and it emphasizes extra the
subject (the harbours and his ships).
Point of view, composition and the
light management are also great.

You have a beautiful series of tall ships and Dublin's riverside. This gives a good main role to the ship on the right and those river reflections. Thanks for the link to larger version. This image no doubt loses some of the effect due to 800 pixel limit.
