Manipulated image, yes, but not digital manipulation -- all old school and low-tech!
Originally shot on 35mm Kodacolor print film, I re-photographed the print using a macro bellows on 35mm Ektachrome.
The colors stayed (more or less) true -- the castle's stone and the heather along the path -- and the soft focus conveyed the feeling I had on the bicycle behind my friend.

The effect is as in an old moovie.

Bonsoir Russ,
J'aime aussi beaucoup l'atmosphère années 60 ou 70. Il y a un beau mouvement dans la photo, et les couleurs sont douces, bien atténuées. Bravo pour l'effet.
