Postcard from Cork Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is one of my first images uploaded to TE.
First thing I learned at TE, from your comments, was that photos after decreasing their size have to be resharpen again... otherwise they don't look good.
So here you are, I took your advice :)

Photograph shows a Cork City panorama from a N8 road coming from Dublin.
The brightest tower belongs to the city hall, which I showed you from different perspectives in couple of pictures already. Next tower is the Holy Trinity Church. It has a very interesting architecture, you would love it. Next church tower you see is St Nicholas church.

As your beautiful night picture shows, Cork is a very interesting city with its old architecture. It is captured with good quality. In particularly the sharpness is really perfect. Very expressive post card! Thanks for the informative note!

yes, this version certainly is an improvement, although the original was already very good. the starlights are wonderful, and I like a lot how the distorted reflections create an impression that the city is slowly melting and flowing into river. nice :)

I like the reflections of lights on the water here. Seems to be a very calmed river!
Lights and exposure are quite good.

Takie lodowiska wlasnie uwielbiam w zdjeciach nocnych, kiedy na pierwszym planie pojawia sie jakis motyw z woda, ktora mozna uspokoic dlugimi czasami. Ladne, ale jak zwykle na moje oko troszke ciasnawe ujecie. Podejrzewam, ze sytuacja Cie zmusila do uzycia tego typu obiektywu ze wzgledu na odleglosc. Dobre nocne ujecie!
