Photographer's Note

What's a visit to Ireland without a stop at The Cliffs of Moher? Standing 214m (702 feet) at their highest point, they stretch for 8 kilometers(5 miles) along the Atlantic coast of County Clare. We got there on a gloomy overcast day, but I caught a break just as I was leaving when the clouds started to break.

This view is looking south. If you climb all the way to the top of the viewing area there's another lovely view to the North. There's also the remnants of a tower at the top.
