Moher cliffs after workshop
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French] |
By listening to the advises( Thank you Andrew : Macondo), I increased the luminosity, the contrast and sharpness of this image. By hoping that it makes it a little better.
This photo was taken in august 1976 with a canon FTQL, objective of 50 mm .The initial image is a Fuji slide.
We discovered Ireland under ideal conditions (During 4 weeks , we knew only one half day of rain!!).
By consulting the references on Internet, it seems that the cliffs are fatal to certain visitors. |

dear pascal,
i like composition on this pic.wonderful colors.
It's like a painting!
this is one of the most amazing photo i'd seen.
thanks
I'd better give it a point or two, then! I do think it looks a little better now, especially those flowers in the foreground, that are standing out more, and the sea is a more appealing colour. It's always difficult with a scan of an old photo. The basic composition and the subject matter in this one are terrific. Well done.
Regards,
Andrew

Considering that this is scan (probably with nonexpensive home scaner) photo is technicly OK.
I'm sure that original slide look much, much better. I suppose that litlle lack of sharpness is also due to scaning. This problem can be easily corrected with Picassa2 sharpening tool. If you don't have that software you can download it from internet
But this is still excellent, well composed photo with very interesting and unusual POW.
Regards Darko

Bonjour Pascal,
J'ai aussi visité l'Irlande, et n'ai connu qu'une seule journée sans pluie, mais l'Irlande c'est cela.
C'est une réussite cette image scannée, et la prise était dangereuse. Joli point de vue et les couleurs sont belles.
Amicalement
Martine
This is an interesting angle that one does not see of the Moher cliffs. This is an original idea. Keep up the good work.

Bonjour Pascal,
Holy cow1 I am a bit dizzy after looking at this photo....the pov is wonderful but scary! How did you take this without sliding down the cliff and into the ocean? Very nice depth of field and I do love the little flowers and the deep blue of the ocean. Very nice my friend!
Take care,
