POINTEE SUR LES ILES

Les Falaises de Moher sont un site incontournable de l'Irlande. Elles dominent la mer de 200m sur 8km de façade. Ici c'est une vue de la mer et au loin des îles Inis proches du Connemara. J'ai aimé les tons de l'eau sous ce ciel aux très beaux nuages. Cette photo a été prise en même temps que la précédente, "Vue des Falaises"

"The Cliffs of Moher (Irish: Aillte an Mhothair, lit. cliffs of the ruin, also known as the Cliffs of Mohair) are located in the parish of Liscannor at the south-western edge of the Burren area near Doolin, which is located in County Clare, Ireland.
The cliffs rise 120 meters (394 ft) above the Atlantic Ocean at Hag's Head, and reach their maximum height of 214 meters (702 ft) just north of O'Brien's Tower, eight kilometres away. The cliffs boast one of Ireland's most spectacular views.[3] On a clear day the Aran Islands are visible in Galway Bay, as are the valleys and hills of Connemara.
O'Brien's Tower is a round stone tower at the approximate midpoint of the cliffs. It was built by Sir Cornelius O'Brien, a descendant of Ireland's High King Brian Boru, in order to impress female visitors.[4] From atop that watchtower, one can view the Aran Islands and Galway Bay, the Maum Turk Mountains and the Twelve Pins to the north in Connemara, and Loop Head to the south." Hello Jacques,

De prime abord, j'ai pensé à un canon mais il n'en est rien. La vue est splendide et offre un espace énorme à l'observateur. Un ciel dramatique vient couronner le tout.

A dramatic approach to this coastal scene. Unusual choice of vertical composition for landscape photo, but the result is very impressive, the atmosphere is fantastic! This is truly irish view.

C'est une photo intéressante et belle! Le ciel est merveilleux et vous l'avez bien capté! La luminosité est très attirante, le jeu entre la lumière et les ombres! Les couleurs sont belles aussi! J'ai pensé que c'était un canon aussi, mais après avoir lu quelques autres commentaires pour me certifier, je sais que c'est une lunette... peut-être vous vouliez nous tromper... mais non... nous sommes intélligents... je rigole!

Il m'a aussi fallu regarder à deux fois pour constater qu'il ne s'agissait pas d'un canon! Beau cadrage qui met ce ciel chargé en vedette. Les teintes de la mer sont très belles également.

cette photo me rappelle un souvenir de banyuls ou il y a aussi un canon qui pointait vers la mer mais juste en face il y avait une frégate et nous étions a boire l'apéro et a coté de nous le capitaine du bateau buvait aussi un verre et en rigolant nous lui avons dit votre navire est en danger ...
un super cadrage ou tu laisse la place a l'horizon et a l'arriere plan, netteté nickel

Je suppose que ce sont toujours les incendies que l'on voit au loin... Un lunette qui meuble bien cette superbe photo où le ciel tient une place importante. Image qui me rappelle celles de notre ami JB sur Lyon et NY... rapport à la lunette. Lumière intéressante ici, bien vu Jacques.

c'est vrai que la lunette fait penser à un canon pointant son 'nez' vers les iles...et son placement a donné une belle profondeur. Bon choix du format vertical laissant ainsi beaucoup d'espace au ciel menaçant.

I love this .. thoughtful image .. wonderfully composed .. maybe if the foreground were a touch brighter .. the telescope into this vast place .. even the lines of the telescope add to the sense of dimension and lead me into the image .. wonderful image. take care,

I am really sorry about the terrible weather you had in Ireland. But you turned it to your advantage. The sky is very dramatic here and it is the strongest element in this shot.
Nice composition too, first I thought is is a gun.

Hello Jacques, Very dramatic scene, I think it is the combination of the dark clouds in the sky, the contrast and the cannon which is pointing out over the water at the distant islands. Vertical format works very well, a very impressive image, my compliments.

un ciel comme je les aime vraiment et je n'ai pas résisté au désir de venir voir de plus près, cette photo.
Belle prise de vue avec ce canon qui guide l'oeil vers un arrière plan 'profond', infini.
J'aime beaucoup l'expo bien calculée ici.
