Photographer's Note

An irish papagolfade ... Except a few cases, I never found irish churches very beautiful (nothing compared to my dear chapels of Brittany !). But Ireland has many ruins of abbeys that are ofen incredibly charming ! Here we are at the gate of Burren, a few miles from Ballyvaughan. These are Corcomore Abbey ruins. This cistercien abbey was built by O'Brien between 1182 and 1195. Beautiful ruins surrounded by an old cimetery with many celtic crosses. Around the ruins stands a green valley. And on the horizon you can see mountains of stone of Burren. Just magic ... Have a nice Sunday ;)
