This picture was taken from the hiking-trail along the western side of Killary Harbour. Killary harbour is a fjord-like bay and about 14 kms long. The water quality is good for the cultivation of oysters and mussels. You can see this sea-food production in the distance.

Ein tolles Bild, ohne Sonnenschein und Wattewölkchen...eine tolle Stimmung und Natur pur! Das Bil hat durch den Vordergrund eine wunderbare Tiefe. Da wäre ich jetzt gerne ... aber morgen früh: Büro!

Nice viewpoint looking into the harbour, and an informative note explaining the activity on the water.

The light is often difficult in this part of the world, but having been there myself just a few days beofre you took this shot I can confirm that you've captured the colours & atmosphere of the location!

I took a picture just like these 29 years ago from abt the same place .But this one is much better and i like the atmosphere here .Very well done
