Photographer’s Note

The exterior of the chapel at the Clarion Hotel Sligo, a newly renovated hotel that has a fascinating history. Its Elizabethan facade is quite unique. The building is reportedly a historically preserved formal mental institution, which is more evident from the large view, It was built in 1848, just before the famine. This is the chapel, just separated from the main building, where many weddings are held.
