Famous Benbulben, a photo from Sligo, North

Photographer's Note

Benbulben is one of the most famous places in Ireland.

Located in County Sligo in the region called "Yeats Contry", the spur of Benbulben is a part of the Dartry Mountains.

When I went to take photo of this "table montain", Benbulben was hidden behind the fog.
After few hours the fog was everywhere.
So I had to wait 4 days to take this photo (and this is a lot of time for tourist who intended to go on bicycle almost around Ireland ;-)

Hi Marta,

Really nice capture of that "table mountain", you did well to wait 4 days! I like the colours and the inclusion of details like the houses and trees wich allow us to have a good perception of scale. Nice light too.

You cycled around Ireland? What a great trip!! This is also a great photo, I love the rich velvety green foreground that shouts, "I'm Irish." The still misty table mountain in the background is also right. Regards, Patricia

Bardzo interesujący kadr, z ładnymi planami. Całość przejrzysta, a światło na zboczu dodatkowo skupia wzrok.
To musiała być piękna wyprawa (sorry, ale zaglądnąłem do korespondencji), dla mnie ta wyspa tylko teoretycznie jest odkryta, pisałem o niej pracę mgr. Natomiast Twoje prace coraz mocniej skłaniają mnie do odwiedzenia jej fizycznie.
