This small cottage looks just like the romantic image of an old Irish home. It is in fact used for storing bags pof fertilizer and tools.
Just outside Trim, Co Meath on the Summerhill Road

I dug way back to your first post. It is great. I like the choice of black and white as the photo focus on contrast and texture. The road running past the building forces the viewer to take in the whole photo.

This is beautiful mono, nice POV, well balanced composition.. looks like a HDR...I do like HDR's mono. They are very good, sometimes.

What a charming little cottage it is so nice - I love the thatched roof & your choice of B&W - Your POV is excellent taking in the whole picturesque setting - with the cute little road winding its way up to ' maybe ' a mansion?
I love it!!!

Now this is the kind of tool shed I would love to have, what a beautiful little storage unit! :) This could almost be "anywhere U.S.A." with this layout...an old country road, most likely leading to a hand built farmhouse, with nothing but open land and fields for miles around. Although similar in that regard, this holds a distinctly old world charm with that thatched type roof, certainly having European roots. Love the black & white effect, feels moody and even a bit mysterious...just where does that road go?? It's the simple things in life such as this that I've always thought have some of the most character and make for some of the best photos, especially when they're achieved like this. Nicely done! Have a great day.
All the best,

Lovely B&W version of this typical Irish cottage.
Great composition with the cottage to the right and the alley way (to the mansion, I presume) at centre-left. It used to be a keeper's cottage, didn't it ?
Excellent management of light and contrast, especially in the sky, so typically Irish too !
Pretty frame created by the branches above !
Congratulations for your first picture on TE.

Very interesting your the 1st post. Some historic b&w picture, like a document archive photo from an exhibition. This cottage reminds me Ukrainian village.

Hello my dear friend
I love shots of this kind in sepia presenting
this small cottage like a scenery from a fairy
tale in a well framed picture the cloudy grey
sky changes everybody s mood
but according to your useful notes this
romantic house is used for storing bags
pof fertilizer and tools
have a nice new day tomorrow
