Photographer’s Note

Clew Bay is a natural ocean bay in County Mayo, Ireland. It contains Ireland's best example of sunken drumlins. According to tradition, there is an island in the bay for every day of the year. The bay is overlooked by Croagh Patrick, Ireland's holy mountain, and the mountains of North Mayo. Clare Island guards the entrance of the bay. From the southwest part of the bay eastwards are Louisburgh, Lecanvey, Murrisk, and Westport; north of Westport is Newport, and westwards from there lies Mulranny, gateway to Achill. From the south side of the bay, between Clare Island and Achill, Bills Rocks can be seen.

Czesc Pawel,
Wiesz, ze mnie takie kamienne kompozycje ciesza ;) Ostatnio wynalazlem kilka "zdrowych" miejsc kolo Dublina. To dobrze, bo nie bede musial wyjezdzac daleko, by nacieszyc sie podobnymi do tego na Twoim zdjeciu widoczkami. Skad Ty taka pogode wytrzasnales? Ja wszystkie niemalze zdjecia robie miedzy deszczem a deszczem. Nawet to ostatnie- jak tam jechalem, to padal deszcz. Podoba mi sie ta fota, bo jest na czym oko zwiesic. Przepiekne kolory i swiatlo, o jakim mozemy pomarzyc obydwaj np. jutro.....(sprawdz pogode ;)
Jako, ze jestem fanem kamiennych zdjec mam nadzieje, ze to nie koniec seryjki ;)
Pozdrawiam i have a nice Sunday, ale na pogode raczej nie licz;(

Hello Pawel,
Yes, there are so many different colors on this rocks, from black to almost white. Excellent detail and texture, I can see all the little holes and texture of the suface. It is a good choice to include much of the foreground for it is the main interesting part of this photo, thought the sea and distant hills is also beautiful, but it's a bit too far away and small to set a statement, The rocks are the stars here. Rockstars, they are. Thanks

Great nature shot. These rocks are colourful, I agree with your title. I also like the dark blue water and the vivid green hills in the BG. Nicely composed. Well-presented.
