Clifden, Connemara, many years ago. I took this photo on negative film and scanned to digital with Plustek OpticFilm 7200 scanner.

A bit grainy, due to the scanning, but more importantly it's a beautiful picture and a very fine composition. The wall and the flowers in the foreground are perfectly placed, and I like the small details on the water. I spent a few pleasant days in Clifden way back in 1968, actually.

A great composition here, the red flowers in the foreground help to give depth to the picture. Lovely reflections, and a sense of stillness.
I have done a WS just using Neat Image [freeware]
to clean up the noise.

A good scan Gunnar of a beautiful place.
The composition is good with lovely colours and details.
I don't suppose the view will have changed much.
TFS, regards Jean.

A nice view and like how you included some foreground. A lovely scene from Ireland. bb Gunnar.

En genomtänkt och lyckad bild. Himlen är kornig men det har tydligen redan påpekats. Väl värd TE i alla fall!

A wonderful "old" picture brings life to a beautiful Irish scenery, lovely colors and contrast, great reflection on still water and all little details like the red flowers make this a very attractive and eye caatching shot!

That village located in the countryside appears so quiet Gunnar, I like the inclusion of these red flowers, excellent scanned image
